Christmas is in full swing at our house.
Kasimir and I worked to put up a few more Christmas lights outside yesterday. OK, Kase mostly just played in the snow, but he did help put up some of those new fancy LED Christmas lights.
Most of our Christmas shopping is complete too. As a dad, I have to say that there is perhaps nothing more awesome than needing the trailer to pick up Kasimir and Augustus’ major Christmas gift. And no, I am not going to tell you what it is. You will just have to show up after Christmas to find out.
Melody and I inventoried our wrapping paper last night, so she went to get a few more rolls today. Hopefully by the end of this weekend, everything will be wrapped and ready for distribution. And in a few more nights, the Christmas cards will be ready to get sent. I know you can’t wait to get yours!
This coming Saturday is the Christmas cookie bake-a-thon. Melody’s dad is hosting it at his new house this year. Typically it is a solid eight to ten hours of mixing, baking, decorating, and snitching. Melody already told me I can bring my Wii out for some mid-afternoon “relaxing.” Nothing like a good game of tennis (my current favorite Wii game) to get the heart pumping and work off a few of those Christmas cookie calories.
Finally, in web update news: I am thinking of a new way to start posting pictures again. I think it will be calendar based, instead of subject based. That should make it easier to find pictures, and a little bit easier for me to post pictures. Let me know what you think about this, if you care at all.
