I finally am getting around to fixing my mountain bike. It’s a bike I bought at Wal~Mart last fall (because my other mountain bike was down to one working gear) and didn’t pay too much for it.
So this summer, the pedal fell off (cheap bike, cheap assembly, go figure) and maybe you remember me complaining about that. I took it to the bike shop today to get it fixed and the whole thing would cost me over $60. For a pedal! That is almost as much as I paid for the stupid thing in the first place!
Well, I need a bike (besides my racing bike) for this weekend, so I am bike shopping again. I plan to get a good used one for a nice price or maybe last year’s model for a clearance price.
Any recommendations out there?
