Dear Friends and Family,
Help me FUND, FUND, FUNDRASE!! August 5th – 6th will be the first time I take part in a journey that has been making a difference in the lives of those who live with multiple sclerosis (MS) for 23 years.
The MS 150 (150 miles, 75 miles per day) Best Dam Bike Tour will bring together more than 1,600 cyclists, where we will ride for a cure for this devastating disease.
MS Facts:
- Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable neurological disease that affects an estimated 400,000 people in the United States; more than 10,000 people in Wisconsin live with MS. That is one in every 500 Wisconsinites.
- Three-quarters of those who have MS are women.
- Today there are five drug treatments available that may slow or delay the progression of MS.
- Since its inception, the MS 150 Best Dam Bike Tour has raised more than $12 million for MS research and education support programs.
Research is our hope for a future free of MS and you can help me continue to make this support possible by helping me reach my personal fundraising goal for 2006. My goal is to raise at least $500.
Since you are probably reading this while sitting at a computer, the easiest way to help is online via credit card. Go to http://tadych.us/ and click on the fundraising progress bar (the cyclist going up the hill) on the right side of the page. This will take you to my personal fundraising site, where I have a special picture of my training buddies that you have to check out! Once there, just click on the “Sponsor Me” button on the right side.
I will also accept pledges by cash or check. If you are using a check, make it payable to National MS Society.
Thank you in advance for your support. This is Why We Ride!
